Disease Ontology Definition:A parasitic helminthiasis infectious disease that involves infection of the intestine in goats, pigs and humans by the nematode Oesophagostomum bifurcum. The symptoms are a low-grade fever, tenderness in the lower-right quadrant and painless cutaneous masses in the lower abdominal region. Rarely, Oesophagostomum spp will perforate the bowel wall, causing purulent peritonitis or migrate to the skin, producing cutaneous nodules.
