The Alfandari lab is seeking a highly motivated individual to work on an NIH-funded project to produce monoclonal antibodies to Xenopus, Axolotl, and Mouse proteins. Qualified applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. Previous laboratory experience is a plus. The project will involve cell culture, protein design, production, and purification. Hybridoma production and selection. Excellent bookkeeping and organizational skills are a must. Individuals will be working as part of a team, but should demonstrate independence. Training will be provided on-site by the PI for highly marketable skills. A commitment for 2 years after the initial testing period is expected. The project is expected to last for 4 years and might be renewed. The position is benefited, and the salary will be based on the candidate’s experience. The search will continue until filled.
