DBSUMI Meeting October 17-21, 2023 - 2023-07-17
The DBSUMI meeting is scheduled for Tuesday to Friday, October 17-20, 2023.
This international conference has occurred every 18 months since 1981.
Registration is HERE for the 27th meeting of echinoderm scientists.
Abstracts have an extended deadline, due August 18, 2023.
The Registration deadline is September 1, 2023.

2023 GRNs for Development Course at MBL - 2023-07-12
An advanced short course “Gene Regulatory Networks for Development” is open to graduate students, postdocs, PIs or anyone else who might profit from an intense and always interesting experience.
The course covers structure and function of genomically encoded GRNs controlling many developmental processes, from biological, modeling, and quantitative viewpoints.
Content ranges from informational and mechanistic aspects of transcription control systems, to applications of GRNs in diverse developmental and evolutionary contexts.

New Echinobase Release 6.0.0 - 2023-06-02
Echinobase has been updated to version 6.0.0.
This new version of updated and restructured application code has improved performance and efficiency, with fewer bugs.
There is also new data and functionality.

New crinoid genome - 2020-05-30
Echinobase is providing partial support for the newly released feather star, Anneissia japonica, genome.
The genome can be viewed in JBrowse and BLAST is supported.
