Research Description:

I am a postdoctoral researcher in bioinformatics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am especially interested in the fields of comparative genomics and phylogenetics. My work focuses on converting biological data into knowledge through a bioinformatics approach. Ultimately, I want to bridge the gap between pure research and applied bioinformatics through scientific collaborations involving different biological models, ranging from frogs to viruses.
